Free A Level Chemistry Easter Revision Challenge: 100 Marks in 10 Days
Easter is one of the most important periods for A Level chemistry revision. By this stage most students have covered the majority of the course, but it can still be difficult to know how to use the time effectively.
Some students spend weeks rereading notes without practising exam questions, while others jump straight into full past papers before they’ve really consolidated their understanding.
To help with this, I’m running a free Easter revision challenge for A Level chemistry students.
What is the A Level Chemistry Easter Revision Challenge?
Over two weeks, students will complete 100 marks of exam-style questions, focusing on the types of answers where students most often lose marks.
Each day includes:
- a short set of questions worth around 10 marks
- at least one extended-response exam question
- a video walkthrough later the same day explaining the answers and common mistakes
The aim is to build confidence with exam-style questions while gradually increasing the level of challenge.
Who is it for?
The first week focuses on core topics that are useful for both Year 12 and Year 13 students, including:
- bonding and structure
- ionisation energy and periodic trends
- organic reaction mechanisms
- calculation questions
In the second week the questions move into full A Level exam practice for Year 13 students preparing for their final exams.
When does it start?
The challenge begins on Monday 30th March, with a new set of questions released each morning and the video walkthrough published later in the day on my YouTube channel.
