How can A Level chemistry masterclasses help?

I’ve been teaching and tutoring A Level chemistry for 20 years, and now work full time online with students from across the UK and internationally, supporting them through their A Level. I use my experience to produce resources that focus on what you need to know, methods that help learning stick and group lessons that accelerate learning and help you reach your goals.

Which membership is right for me?

  • Bronze: You want an affordable, structured revision programme that includes online materials. You are generally happy with your chemistry lessons in school, but find you’re missing out on the higher marks and need more detail on how to approach tricky exam questions or more challenging A/A* content. Available for AQA, OCR A and Edexcel.
  • Silver: You want all the online resources included in the bronze membership, but know you probably won’t use the online materials without a bit more structure and support. This membership includes a monthly assessment exercise which ensures you always have something to work towards. Each assessment is marked by an experienced examiner who will give you personalised feedback and advice. Available for AQA, OCR A and Edexcel.
  • Gold: You want the additional support of weekly online group classes, as well as the online materials and monthly assessments. This option is currently available for AQA and OCR A students, with Year 12 lessons likely to start after October half term. However, spaces are limited so please email me to find out more.
Bronze Silver Gold

Burying your head in the sand won’t make the exams go away — but the A Level Chemistry Masterclass Membership can make them far less scary. Don’t wait until the panic of mock results or exam season – get expert guidance, proven resources and detailed feedback to support your A Level journey.

Bronze gives you all the essential online revision materials — topic checklists, practice questions, masterclass videos, quizzes, exam papers, and the calculations course. Silver adds monthly marked assessments with personalised examiner feedback and email support. Gold includes everything in Silver, plus weekly live online group lessons.

Bronze and Silver memberships are available for AQA, OCR A, and Edexcel. Gold is currently available for AQA and OCR A, with Year 12 lessons likely to start after October half term.

Each month, Silver and Gold members will get an exam-style assessment (around 40-45 minutes). Once you send the assessment back it will be marked by an experienced examiner and you’ll get detailed, personalised feedback to help you improve technique, fix common misconceptions, and target areas for revision. The feedback will be in the form of written annotations but also a walkthrough video to explain trickier concepts and support progress.

Gold members join small, interactive online classes where we go deeper into tricky topics, practise exam-style questions, and tackle common problem areas. Lessons are designed to boost understanding and confidence, and will be in a friendly and supportive environment.

All memberships are paid on a monthly basis, which you can downgrade or upgrade if your needs change. There are a limited number of spaces available for gold and silver memberships (as there is only one of me!) but you can ask to join the waiting list if you would like to upgrade and there are no spaces.

Memberships are billed monthly, so you can stay for as long as you find it helpful.

Live attendance is encouraged for interaction, but lessons are recorded so you can re-watch or catch up if you can’t make it live.

Past papers are useful, but without structured revision, exam technique guidance, and targeted feedback, it’s easy to repeat the same mistakes. The A Level Chemistry Masterclass Membership gives you the structure, strategies, and support to make your practice count and make the most of your limited study time.

The bronze and silver memberships are suitable for any student in year 12 or year 13 taking Edexcel, OCR A or AQA A Level chemistry – no matter what your background or target grade, all students will benefit from more structured, detailed revision resources and feedback. The group classes are available for OCR A or AQA students in year 13 currently, with year 12 options (for all exam boards) being available later in the year. The group classes are recommended for students targeting grades from B to A*.
